Our Board of Managment
About the Board
Our Board of Management are elected members of Personnel West Association Incorporated. They are responsible for fulfilling the obligations contained within the Service Agreement held between the funding body (DEEWR) and Personnel West Association Inc.
Some of these obligations are:
Use of the funding for the provision of employment assistance services.
Meeting the Disability Services Standards when providing those services.
Achieving the specified outcomes.
Conducting regular meetings to plan and review agency performance.
Election of Board Members is conducted at our Annual General Meeting and voting is open to all financial members of the Association.

Mark Munro
Mark is the Promotions and Finance Manager of the Toowoomba Hospice and has been involved with ‘Not for Profit and Volunteer Organisations’ since leaving school in 1987. Mark is an active Board Member of Personnel West and enjoys helping out wherever he can. Mark has been a member of Toowoomba Backscratchers (a local business networking group) since August 2003, and holds the position of secretary. He also holds a Diploma of Public Relations, Publicity and Promotions through the Australian College of Journalism.
Jason Kehl
Jason has been involved with Personnel West since 2001. At the time, Jason was approached to become a Client Liaison Officer and has been a member of the Board ever since. Jason has an active interest in giving those with a disability a voice, through his column in The Chronicle. In Jason’s words, he praised those at Personnel West for their help with his Chronicle column and Jason felt he needed to give something back. We all know that he has provided many of us with that opportunity to give and we thank you Jason. You are an integral member of the Board.
Brad Schofield
Brad has been a member of the Board for the past 2 years. Brad is one of a team of accountants at local company, Pacific Seeds, where he deals with taxation and other compliance issues.
His role within Pacific Seeds covers many different areas including budgeting, financial statement analysis, income tax, GST and liaising with external auditors.
He is a qualified Chartered Accountant with 9 years experience in both public practice and the commercial environment. He is also the Treasurer on the Board of Personnel West and will continue this role for the coming year.
Deanne Whittaker
Deanne has been with Personnel West for the past two years, and continues to be proud of PW’s performance and professionalism. As a member of the Board she is impressed by the ongoing great team work demonstrated by all members of the Board. Deanne says this makes the job as a volunteer Board member with the task of contributing towards the management of Personnel West as a organisation and as a Disability Employment Network service provider a pleasure. Deanne feels the last twelve months have been significant in regard to PW’s growth and development and congratulates Personnel West staff for stepping up with the additional burdens and demands. Deanne is currently the Deputy Chair of Personnel West and also Staff Liaison representative. In this staff liaison role, Deanne liaises as a Board rep. with managers and staff around day to day and operational matters such as staff reviews, human resource matters and complaints. Deanne looks forward to another year with Personnel West .
