How to register

Am I eligible?

- Are you aged between 15 and 65 years?
- Do you live in the Toowoomba area?
- Do you want to work?
- Do you want to work in the Toowoomba area?
- Have you been advised by the Disability Services Officer at Centrelink to contact us?
- Do you need assistance to find a job?
-Do you need assistance to keep a job?

If you can answer YES to all of these questions, you are eligible to apply for registration with Personnel West Employment Services.

How do I register?

Contact us using the details at the bottom of the page, and make an appointment with our manger, David Amey-Wallis. He can check your eligibility, and work with you on your application to help you meet as many criteria as possible.

Centrelink requirements

Because of Centrelink rules, all job seekers, except school leavers and workers whose employment is in jeopardy as a result of their disability, must have a Job Capacity Assessment (JCA) to determine their eligibility for Disability Employment Network (DEN).

You may then be referred to the DEN program if you:
- Have a permanent (or likely to be permanent) disability
- Have a reduced capacity for communication, learning or mobility
- Require support for more than six months after placement in employment, and/or
- Require specialist assistance to build capacity in order to meet participation requirements

The easiest way to get the assessment done is to come and see us, and we can organise it for you from the comfort of the Personnel West office.
